A new year!

Heys! I'm back! At my study table now, whee, miss this place. This place of mine. :) It's so nice to sit here and do things, study again. :) And finally there's a good internet connection here at home. The internet in campus sucks la. X( can't really online. So, it doesn't really matter if my lappy is there with me or not. Alright, this whole week has been, REALLY BUSY!! Goodness, i don't know how did busy get into my life, but i guess my life equals to busy. 1st week of 2010, not really bad but super packed! Gonna struggle for another FIVE weeks till CNY. Whoosh! Endure it!

Had this opening Year 2009 wishes in youth, read my wishes last year. Lots of things to give thanks. God has been watching over me. He has listened and answered my prayers. Thank You, Lord. There's only just one wish i didn't share. Not that i didn't do it, or it didn't happen. Actually it's not something private, just don't feel like sharing it. Saw that wish again in last night's YA gathering. That wish. Sighed. Face winced. Pondered upon it again.

January, many January babies.

Tadaa!!! I'm not sure if i could leave the name there so i just photoshop-ed it out. haha. Nice wrapping right? I love it so much! :) I love the wrapping paper (stretchable), i love the colour, i love the white string! I tied it somewhere at the bottom, (3:1) somewhere there to make it look special. I'm so happy and proud with the wrapping, really! :D

I was making a birthday card on my bed last night. Blue theme. I tried to make it simple cuz i like it simple. Simplicity. :) Flowers look as if floating right? haha, added thick double tape to it. Lots of work.

Oops! A broken petal. :( I had to redraw and re-cut and, re-erase the pencil line.

Okay, hmm, let's see. I'll talk a little about this week. So happy that it has passed so fast. We have class from morning till evening everyday except Wednesday, which is the Gerko day. So basically, i gotta wake up around 545am in the morning to get myself ready for class. Breakfast is always biscuits. Then, i will normally sit on the bed, do a little bible reading and pray. :) Hmm, really hope i could continue on like this, so that i will have time for Jesus every day. And i hope i could spend more time in devotion to talk to Him, to know Him more, preferably at the start of the day. So, normally lunch is something simple too. Then after class, i would either rest or have some stroll outside. Then i would go for dinner. Slept around 12 every night. Nothing special huh. By the way, my poor tummy ah, can't take cafe food, i tried, but it just can't. so...don't really get to eat in campus! :( Hmm, this week i had banana lunch, since i can't take in any cafe food, dad brought bananas to me. Oh! And the cafe has changed it's management. Now it's better. More clean, hygienic. And what i like is, the people speak English! :) And at night, it will still be opened, selling burgers.

First week of school, i was sick! Being sick in the adjusting week is really horrible! But luckily i did my sauna and i recovered super fast. How did i do my Sauna. haha. That afternoon, was supposed to have debate practice, but thankfully it was cancelled. So i spent my afternoon, wearing a jacket, covered myself with blanket, i opened the window to let the afternoon sunlight enter through and i reduced the speed of fan to 1. And there i went, sleeping, and sweating. The night before i was having a mild fever. So phoned daddy to bring me to clinic. Got some drugs which make me drowsy and groggy. Couldn't really concentrate. But thank God, I'm finee now! (though still coughing. *cough cough*)

Studies for first week, wahh, i tell you, my friend and i are study freaks, man! I think we have missed study so much. The first night we were already studying!! Lol. And for Eng Studies (Literature) i think we did 4 poems already. So chiong. However, i really enjoyed the lessons. :) Missed Mdm Angieeee! She brought candies from Aussie for us. She's so sweet huh. :) For Social Studies, this sem we are going to do two themes: Sex and Gender and Environment. Feel like i'm doing EST paper again. Oh, and Sex is actually different from Gender. Interesting topic. We had lots of group discussions. We grouped together in 3 or 4 and shared our love stories (if we have), your crush, when did you start to have a sense of yourself, bla bla... and yesterday, we were discussing what will happen to the world if the opposite sex is totally wiped out. And we had come out with lots of funny things. I'll just name a few, hopefully i remember. I didn't bring back my paper. Be open minded ah, we are not being sexist.

1) The extinction of human beings. (unless you clone females, but there won't be babies.)
2) The world would be less dirty.
3) Crime rate will drop drastically. (Men are naturally more aggressive.)
4) No more prostitution.
5) Accident rates would be higher. (women are lousy drivers? lol)
6) Parking lots would be wider and larger.
7) Change of sign boards. Eg. "Men at work" → "Women at work"
8) There will be no more Heroes in movies, only Heroines.
9) The economy will rise steeply. (women shop a lot)
10) Mirrors are everywhere in town!
11) Valentines' Day → HOMO-valentines' Day
12) No more true love between a man and woman. :(
13) Robot Boy friends would be invented.
14) Of course, there might be more lesbians.
15) Less Sexually Transmitted Diseases.
16) Our world would become so so so dull and boring without them! :(

so see that? Guys, we still need you. LOL

Answers from the boys.
1) The rate of committing suicide will rise. (no more women to de-stress, they said women are naturally gentle, soft, will talk nicely to them, make them feel less stressed after work. haha. They got this very very right.)
2) Some men might undergo transsexual operation to become females.

And more. But i can't really recall cuz those are the points from guys. Well, i guess, we just can't live without one another ey? :)

The first thing to do when i reached home, was to play with Gracie! Missed her sooo much! Played some clapping hands games. Scissors paper stone. (haha, i am truly young at heart! :p) She is now going to primary 1. I remembered the other night i phoned her after the first day of school. She said she got scolded cuz she entered boys' toilet. HAHAHA! So blur ah Gracie. Just like me last time. Next week, CF will start, i hope! :) Kinda miss it. Actually i feel like taking up the, em, pre... post. haha. I wanted to take it but i left Lower Six. Dunno la, just got this feeling inside me. Going to have soft ball for Gerko. (no idea what that is) And i'm not gonna have Gamelan this semester! Aww, gonna miss it. However, i will still be playing during the graduation ceremony this year. Wheepy! Next week, i'm gonna bring my tennis and badminton racquets to school. hoho. My sports life start again. And...

1) Functions of Modals (Quiz) - next Tuesday
2) PJ short assignment due 22 Jan
3) Debate Competition 23 Jan

Okay, the list is still going on but i'm not gonna type them. Jogged yesterday evening, then went to YA at night. Slept around 2am, before that i heard an accident somewhere outside my house. Then woke up around 615am to get ready to go back to school for PE. (Urghh!) Jogged 3 laps. (Jogged one lap, half-jogged half walked 1 lap, walked 1 lap.) Then had a booooring lecture on Exercise. Hmm, now i feel so sleepy, how to study? I think, i will go grab a nap. Study later! :D
